This program is for those students might begin their career in the CFO's or Treasurer's office or with placement at one of the Wall Street investment banks. Responsibilities may include: analysis of foreign exchange and interest rate hedging strategies, valuation of potential acquisitions (for outright purchase or equity investment), assessing the credit worthiness of certain bonds, and using accounting data to screen potential takeover targets. Responsibilities in investment banking may also include company valuation, initial public offerings, equity and bond financing and various consulting services.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants must hold a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and must submit a fully completed application for admission. International applicants should check for degree equivalency on the Admissions website. The Admissions Committee evaluates applicants’ prospects as leaders in management and their projected ability succeed in, benefit from and contribute to the UCLA Anderson MBA Program. Committee members carefully consider personal and academic background information, GMAT scores, TOEFL scores (for most international applicants), achievements, awards and honors, employment history, letters of recommendation, and college and community involvement, especially where candidates have served in leadership capacities. The Admissions Committee seeks to create a community of students who bring unique contributions from their diverse backgrounds and experiences and who will collectively enrich the educational experience. All prospective students must have a demonstrated knowledge of algebra and differential calculus before beginning the Anderson MBA Program. It is recommended that all admitted students complete a differential calculus course prior to the start of their MBA studies. All admitted students are expected to have a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The minimum TOEFL scores required for admission to the University is 560 (paper-based test), or 220 (computer-based test), or 87 (iBT). Bear in mind that these are minimum scores, and that few applicants have been admitted with scores below 260 on the TOEFL-CBT, below 100 on the iBT, or below 600 on the paper-based version.
