This MBA curriculum provides rigorous training in accounting, finance, marketing, statistics, strategy, management information systems, and operations management. This integrated core courses that introduce the functional and foundational areas of business. In the second semester, students use their newly acquired expertise to select elective courses and build their Professional Portfolios. These flexible advising tools help students choose courses, professional activities, study abroad programs, and other opportunities that best prepare them to achieve their career goals.

Faculty research in these areas is internationally known and has been published in the best finance and economics journals. The department should take responsibility for helping the individual (and dependents, if any) locate housing. International Student and Scholar Services has a list of local hotels and motels in the Twin Cities. Temporary housing for scholars coming without studentsng children can be arranged in some of the University residence halls. Checking bulletin boards near the ISSS. office and in other places on campus, such as studentsr department office and the Housing and Residential Life office located at Comstock Hall 210 Delaware St. SE. Contact ISSS to see if there is one for studentsr country. They are a good resource for helping students settle in. Asking friends, mentors, or supervisors if they know of any good housing options.
