Ringkasan program
This program is a master’s degree in response to the growing need for specialists who can provide comprehensive psychiatric-mental health nursing care to adults who are at risk for mental illness, as well as those who are in need of psychiatric services. The APMHNP Track, one of only two offered in the state of Iowa , has been developed in response to a well-documented, serious shortage of mental health practitioners in Iowa , especially psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners in Iowa .

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
A bachelor's degree with a major in nursing from a school accredited by a regional accrediting organization; A minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale; Current licensure as a registered nurse in Iowa. Minimum of one-year clinical nursing experience as a registered nurse prior to enrollment in the first clinical course; Courses in community health nursing, statistics and nursing research at the baccalaureate level; Computer literacy and Copy of current CPR certification card.
