Allen College is a private, co-educational regionally accredited post-secondary institution categorized by the Carnegie Foundation as a Special Focus Institution. Allen College, based on a tradition of over 75 years of health care education excellence, is located on a beautiful campus in Waterloo, Iowa. Allen College has four suites located in Alumni Hall on the Allen College Campus. The Alumni Hall suites provide Allen students the housing benefits of independent living while being close to campus. Each suite has three bedrooms and can accomodate up to six students. Suites include furnished living area with a sofa, lamp, table, chairs, and cable TV; twelve bedrooms that accommodate up twenty-four people contain: a bed with mattress, desk, dresser, chair, and closet for each occupant; kitchen provides a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, dining island, and stove; dining area is furnished with table and chairs; large bathroom provides a walk-in shower and whirlpool tub with an additional half bath; utility room with washer and dryer; private entrance for each suite; security system for each suite. The common area is accessible by students in all four suites. It has small exercise room; patio and gazebo area with a gas grill; security system and computer provided with Internet access. Other Amenities are phone/Internet/cable TV access in the bedrooms; cable TV in living areas and common area; central air throughout Alumni Hall; soft water; limited storage available for each suitemate; on site parking; all suites are handicapped accessible; all utilities provided free of charge and wireless Internet access available.
