Ringkasan program
The RN to BSN Program is a specialized program of study designed specifically for the RN with an Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing. Based on principles of adult education and focusing on the skills and experiences nurses bring to the educational setting the RN to BSN program includes required general education coursework and nursing courses designed and delivered for RN’s only.
Modul program
The course modules for Prerequisite Courses are English Composition 6, General Biology and Lab 4, General Chemistry or Introduction to Chemistry 3, Introduction to Sociology 3, General Psychology 3, College Algebra 3, Arts Elective 3, Microbiology 3, Humanities Elective (1000 level or above) 6, Elective 6. Supporting Courses are Human Physiology and Lab 4, Human Anatomy and Lab 4, Pharmacology 3, Biometry/Statistics 3, Humanities Elective (3000 level or above) 3, HLSC2416 Health Assessment Theory 2, HLSC2417 Health Assessment Lab1, HLSC3410 Pathophysiology 3. Nursing Didactic and Clinical Course are NURS 3375 Introduction to Professional Nursing Concepts 5, NURS 3370 Research in Nursing 3, NURS 4379 Nursing Leadership in the Health Care System 5, NURS 4375 RN Mental/Community Health Nursing Concepts 5, NURS 4376 RN Mental/Community Health Nursing Practicum 3, Nursing Elective 2.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Admission to this program requires Current unencumbered license to practice nursing in Louisiana and Grade Point Average of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale (2.5 for provisional admission), It also requires Basic Life Support certification.
