My advice to students keen on coming here would be to take interest in the subject and enjoy their stay in the US of A.

I didn't have to write any exam for internship. The admission process was very smooth and easy. One needs to have good academic record for this position and find the right mentor. I went on J1 visa and the process was very a smooth.Getting ticket was easy! I flew by Lufthansa which was indeed very comfortable. I wasn't offered student fare or any excess baggage. I could carry 46 kgs as check in baggage. No immigration issues at the port. I landed at Boston Logan international and was pleased to see students welcome me!! The Meet and Greet was awesome!!

The research program was fully funded by the university. They also provided stipend.

The program is very comprehensive and gives a good research experience! The professors are excellent!! The lecture halls are pretty good. The library is Outstanding (26 Floored Library!!)

I lived in the University dorm which was common for both boys and girls and hence it was a new thing for me. The sports facilities are pretty good. Part time jobs are easy for Indians! People are very friendly and open to new thoughts. The night life is great!! Weather is pleasant during the summer. There is an international society that handles Indian Dance nights, Indian festivals etc.

It is easy for international students to get a job and the placement cell is helpful. I don't know much about how it functions, I just went for an internship. The school helps a lot with work permit. There is an active alumni society but they don't help with placements!
