Our school has lot many activities to do. I would say this is one of the best universities in the US.
I am Parag; I have already done my MS in Electronics & Telecommunication from India. To find a better career, I decided to go for a second Master from US. I gave my GRE & TOEFL for getting admission. I gave my visa interview at Mumbai Consulate. Interview was fine, but they questioned me the reason for second Master. I chose this university, as my relatives are residing in Virginia near by the school. I took Air-India from Mumbai to Washington D.C. My uncle received me from Washington D.C IAD Airport.
Our school has lot many activities to do. We have an online as well as class room library. Mostly student's preferred to use e-books through online library.
I am staying with Uncle & his family. We are residing around 20 miles circumference of University location. Night life is good as long as we have enough money. I would say that Student life is more painful. As we need to spent money for school fees & then for personal expenses. Virginia is one of the coldest places in US. People, who come from India, should carry enough Winter clothes.
We have an active Campus Placement Department. As I am new to the University, I can't say anything about placements. I heard about placements are fine even in the recession. Regarding On Campus jobs, I would say tough competition among students. There are many students already registered and are waiting in queue.
