I come from Hong Kong, from a modest family. NUS was my first choice and I am grateful to Singapore for the opportunity given to international students and also largely thankful to my parents who sacrificed much to give me the opportunity to go and study abroad. They helped me to fulfill my goal.
There is not necessary to write any pre - exams for offer letter or got an admission. Visa process is very simple and easy.
The first year in NUS was very tough for me and I almost took the decision to go back to my country. I talked with my parents about that also with tutors about the difficulties. As I come from a quite different country with a totally different culture, it was very difficult for me in the beginning to adapt to the fast pace of Singapore, mainly in studies. Fortunately after a year I got used to the culture and manage to compete with the other students.
NUS has many sectors of facilities and programms for students to develop their activities. Singapore to me has always been and will always remain a country of opportunities. I believe that from Singapore it is easier to make a difference in the world, whether through business or any other area. I have chosen the business sector. You can find two types of accommodation is sharing kitchen and laundry accommodation with other students and sharing units with friends. Both are fully modern facilitated.
NUS have a very good reputation in Singapore, NUS also helps students to get good job after graduation on based on study result.
