I'm currently in my first year, first semester at La Trobe and it has been a far cry from what i had imagined the Uni life to be.

Getting into La Trobe isn't hard with representatives and tertiary learning agents found everywhere you're bound to be introduced to the university. I can't say how strict the selection process was i got in at first attempt.

I'm sure funding and scholoarship opportunities are available. However I'm currently funded and supported by my parents and so wouldn't make a good candidate in talking about such things.

Its been fair to be honest. Lecturers and tutors are friendly and easy going which helps allot being in a different country with different studying cultures.

I would say the facilities are good, but then again i've yet to visit other campusses and so won't be able to make a fair comment. It's personally adequate. I hear many people getting jobs but i've yet to actually venture out towards getting one but the locals seem very nice so i would say its a pretty nice place to be in.

I'm sure good grades and a right attitude gets you a job regardless of which university you come from.
