If a student is ready to take up a challenging study opportunity, they are welcome at Oklahoma. This is a best place to study in the nation. I am pretty much happy with the way my program is structured here and my professors are really good and helping.

I wrote GRE and TOEFL as a part of my admission process. There are plenty of students who would like to prefer coaching but I prepared on my own by going through the available materials. I didn’t take any help from the counselors. I applied to all the universities on my own. I needed a VISA. My VISA interview was for about hardly less than a minute. I was asked only 1 question. I flew through Air India and it was good. Excess baggage was not allowed. I landed at Oklahoma City. The airport is about 1 hour drive (60 miles) from the institution. Some will also prefer to land in Tulsa. It is also the same distance from the institution. I didn’t face any immigration issues at the port of entry. My university offered Greeting Services at the airport.

There are plenty of assistantships and waivers given by my institution.

I am pretty much happy the way my program is structured here. My professors are really good and helping. Libraries are very good here. The sports facilities are the best in the nation.

I am living in university apartments but my accommodation was arranged by me. This place is a very calm and peaceful place. I don’t see any night life here. Weather conditions are good right now but it is expected to get worse during the winters. There is an international student society in my university. They conduct many special events like Poker night, Movie Night, etc.

My university offers placements. There is a huge department for this activity, and lots of international students do get their jobs but it all depends on the individual and varies from semester to semester depending on the market scenarios. There are almost 1000+ organizations which attend this process. The work permit process is taken care of the university itself if you get a part time at the university. There is a very good alumni society in my university which helps us a lot to get in touch with the alumni.
