I really enjoy my time at SMU. I made a lot of good friends, and we still keep contact until now. Everyone was so friendly, and I believe we will become business partners in the future. The most important advice I could give to you is that try very hard to study the subjects that you like, and you will be a successful businessman.
I just followed the instructions by the staff, and I was very happy when I recieved the offer from the Uni. The selection process was very fast for me. In order to obtain a visa, you need to fill in the form at the Singapore consulate, and they will send the notice of how to get your visa stamped. You just need to make sure that you submit all kinds of documents required and everything will be fine.
I attended the information session where I recieved a lot of information on how to win scholarship. I actually tried to apply for one, and I had a partial fee scholarship, which is quite good. Look for the information on the Internet, and I am sure that you will be successful if you work hard enough.
The course is very intensive and interactive among the students. We communicated on high levels with international standard. The lecturers and tutors are very helpful. Some of them speak Singapore (Singapore English) so it is very hard to unterstand, but everything will be fine at the end. I spent about 40 hours to study each week.
The Uni facilities are very modern, and as the Uni is very new, all the buildings are very nice and brand-new. Singapore is a wonderful place for us to study and to go shopping. I really like the late night shopping in Singapore after hard hours of study. Accommodation is pretty expensive as I live in the CBD of Singapore. It is very convenient for me, but the price is a bit high. The Student Union is very active and we like the scene there so much. I joined some activities by the the Student Union.
My job prospect has increased a lot thanks to my studies at SMU. Actually I am studying at one of the best Uni in Australia for my Master. Before I worked for P&G. I will keep in touch with my friends.
