It is for sure nice to study abroad, it's a good experience. It is not completely different from life back home. It's necessary to select a good varsity that suit ourselves. Another thing is that, we should conform to Australian English , this is critical in adapting to new country, life style and culture. So far, UNSW is one the best colleges in Australia.
To be granted a place in a prestigious school is surely challenging. Except for applying into the uni and getting offer letter, we must also make sure that we have accommodation and other stuff fixed. My agent helped solve the majority of my questions. It's necessary to find some one to settle the transfer process for you. Most study agencies in malaysia suffice.
There are numerous grants and funding openings to be had. The crucial part is find one to fit the course we're taking. Because of the radical competition in the varsity, I didn't get any funding. Scholars can try applying and making sure their results on top of others.
Civil Engineering is a busy course, involves lots of hours and a lot of study at home if you actually want to succeed and get the top marks. It also involves a good range of subjects which cover all basis of engineering. I prob study up to 20hrs a week, a ton more come examination time.Course is costly but in the long run, you'll be earning large greenbacks. The lecturers and tutors here are your best friends.
My university's facilities are sort of good. Australia is THE place to live in, there are many things to see and places to explore. Besides that, my buddies come from different background ; local and global scholars. The bad thing about the accommodation system here is that we need to pay it weekly. However, if you are doing casual job, it may ease the problem. I didn't join any international club or at all. I join the association that is related to my study. It's more useful.
Recruiters do come on campus, but they are on the lookout for folk who are Permanent Residents or have work permits, So few folks basically looking for international students. You must finish the course, apply and get a TR or PR and then find work in Australia if u need to work here. Job finding could be a challenge in this scenario. That being said, I really do believe that my job prospects have increased as a result of studying at UTS.
