My Curtin experience was a really great one. I learned so much from my course and I felt what I was taught was very relevant to my career. I would tell prospective students to do something they really like, this will make your learning experience more wonderful as I had seen other students struggling through the course they are not interested.

The main concern for international students is the english proficiency, there might be a need to do IELTS.

like the lab work a lot, its really interesting. I have 25 contact hours the previous semester. Lecturers are generally good, some don't speak English very well but I heard from my friends from other unis they experience the same issue too. I think tutorial session are particularly useful, they re-enforce what was being taught in the lectures.

The facilities at Curtin are more or less the same as every other uni in Australia. Well, there are always sufficient resources (computers/printers etc) for students. I live off-campus, so far, i did learn to become more independant especially on cooking, which I never cook until I was here. My experiences over here has taught me to become much more independant.

I have already graudated and had returned to my home country. I was really lucky to find a government sector job related to my field of studies.
