I chose TAFE because I knew it would be a better place to clarify what I wanted to do, and TAFE is very practical as opposed to uni which is very theory-based.

Through TAFE I got to experience what all the different areas of business would actually be like to work in. Your assessments at TAFE are basically what you would do when you're working in the real world so that really helped me make a decision on my direction.

I decided I wanted to be in the financial or accounting area of business - and that's what I do now! I'm a data analyst working in the finance team at Wilson Parking, and my Diploma made a huge difference when I was applying for the job. Everything I learnt at TAFE. I've been able to directly apply to my work. Without TAFE I don't know what I'd do.
