Academic advice - I would say is if you are interested in doing MS, having good scores, you would be happy studying here.

Exams like GRE and TOEFL I took. I Prepared on my own. For F1 Visa, my experience was short. Getting tickets was easy, I took Air India. Experience and it was ok. I didn't get any student fare. I flew from India to Chicago, to Raleigh where the University is located. Baggage rules were 1 cabin bag, 3*23kgs luggage's allowed. I didn't face any immigration issues. Indian association "Maitri" members picked me up from airport.

TA/RA are usually offered, but hard to get them.

Professors are good, always for improvement. Lecture Halls are good. Library is excellent with books of my requirement.

i am staying in an off-campus apartment. Full sports facilities are available. No real worries of the place I live, no violence, but always need to be careful. Night life is pleasant. Weather is hot in summer, cool in winter,rest of all it’s fine with the state. Well the Indian association conducts time to time parties for indian students so it’s fun.

Placement cell looks into job prospects, has moderate opportunity of getting jobs. Campus placement process in place. Work permit process is a bit easy as the degree obtained has a very good value.No alumni society.
