Studying at parkland obviously was one of my enjoyable experiences. Maybe the best advice i can give is to use all the facilities and resources that parkland has. With broad range of books, magazines, or periodicals, i am sure that you will like that. Of course, you don't have to sit in the library just to read books, there are plenty of desks or comfortable couches around college. Another advice, just enjoy it!
I got a Fulbright scholarship
I was taking 2 certificates in 3D animation and web design. I like the way the instructors taught the course. They were very passionate about what they were doing and of course that's what i expected. Also, if I needed some help or additional explanation, i could just ask the instructors right away, or maybe schedule a meeting. That's great!
I joined the International student association (ISA) where it's a great way to meet other students from all over the world. The best thing i like was the culture fair which is usually held around April. It's a big exhibition where you can participate, introduce your cultures while learning other country's cultures.It's Fun!
I believe that the knowledge i gained from parkland had increased my skill and also my opportunity to get the job that I've always wanted, or maybe start my own business.
