My experience at Aberystwyth has been an enriching and eventful one. The facilities are simply great here and the friendly atmosphere is very conducive for research and study.
I came to Aberystwyth to study as I knew the Research Group I was joining was going to work for Beagle 2 and I wanted to take part. The facilities on the campus are very good. I have my own office space with a PC which helps me a lot with my research. The campus as a whole is lovely and the Hugh Owens Library has everything I need for research. The support I get from the staff is excellent. We have a person looking after each research person as well as our own personal supervisor. It is a friendly department and there is always somebody to turn to if you need to speak to them about anything.
I enjoy living in Aberystwyth. The Art Center on the campus is a great place to relax and enjoy during the day or evening. The social life is very different in Aberystwyth to where I come from. Even though it is not a city there is so much available to students. The pubs and clubs in town are very lively and full of students.
