So far, it's been a good experience. The most important advice to anyone thinking about studying here is that you should be open minded and just go around mixing with everybody.

It was all too hard to get into ANU, provided you meet the pre-requisites and English language requirements. What you basically do is that you submit an application form and when the uni gets back to you, you just need to follow the step-by-step instructions which the uni normally provides.

Like most malaysian students I've met in ANU, we don't usually take into account scholarships which might be available here. The minority of Malaysian scholars here obtained a scholarship back home.

My course is interesting as I am doing a double major in commerce and arts. The best bits are experiencing the different culture and workings of the separate faculty and figuring out somehow to complement each other. Right about now, I put in about 10 hours of study but I guess that's just pressure on myself.

The university is pretty big by itself while Canberra itself isn't that all big. Think of a homely town with everything you ever need and you're not far off. The people here, both local and international students are really friendly!

I'm not too sure about where my degree will get me to but rest assured I am doing something different and I believe it will increase my job prospects, coupled with ANU's reputation.
