When I arrived in UK from Barbados I never imagined that I would soon get the opportunity of a lifelong career in the construction industry. But after completing my AVCE in Construction I was offered a bursery by Multiplex, main contractor for Wembley National Stadium. I was one of the four students offered the new burseries. It was a great experience studying in this college.

The College has definitely helped me - the tutors are very very good and the Learning Resource Centre staff are really cool and helpful.

I am now starting a HND in Building Studies with all my fees, books and learning materials paid for. As part of my course I am spending two days a week at a major construction site - a new hotel and apartment block at West India Quay, Docklands. This is a Multiplex project. The rest of the time I attends College. I had a great chance to meet all international students who were very friendly to me.
