Struggling a little because the distance between my homestay and the University is quite far. Also the fact that most are local student studying in La trobe, I find it quiet daunting to mix with their culture. Advise is to maintain good communication with the lecturer, other students and the student supports because they will keep you on track. Just don’t be shy or afraid to ask.

I came to know this university back when I was in Bali after highschool. I saw an exhibition about studying overseas opportunities. And the representative told me that I am qualified to do my study here because of my English and overall marks in higscchool. After I do all paperworks, I went to an agent called IDP to get a ll my visa and accommodation settled. It was quite easy.

I was offered a scholarship program but I was not interested to work any harder.

Lecturers and tutors are good but there are some which are hard to approach. The course was overall a good course as it was my first time studying here and I also made friends along the way of learning. Assignment deadlines, late nights, all a part of uni life.

We have big library, internet, cafes, car park and different departments of study like science, IT, arts commerce etc. Its a big campus. Finding a job is quite hard, especially the one that is flexible according to my timetable. I joined MSF club

The supports from the student center is really helping me a lot in coping with my studies and they also supports me for finding a job/ career opportunity.
