Before arriving in the UK, I worried that I would not adjust to the life here. I felt this because the UK is culturally different and at the time I had no friends here. But, I believe that I made a good decision in coming to the University of Lincoln in order to continue the 3rd year of my degree.

At first, I did feel lonely but once I had met the University staff and lecturers, I did not feel like that anymore. The staff here are really helpful and always there for you.

Freshers' Week for new students was great. All kinds of activities were organised by the Students' Union, which gave me a great opportunity to meet people from different places and cultures. As for the University environment, I think it is a great environment for study and the facilities are all well-equipped.
