I chose the Institute because it offered a high-level professional qualification, which will be an excellent addition to my academic portfolio. I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of how research works, methodology and research processes. The central London location was also very convenient and culturally vibrant.
The structure kept me on track and focused throughout the length of the programme.
I met a wide and varied group of fellow professionals from different walks of life and different countries, with whom I will stay in touch.
I am currently a lecturer in physical education as well as a primary school PE teacher. Although I was self-funded, my college helped me in terms of giving me study time to complete assignments. They will benefit by the rich research profile that I now bring to the team I work with. And I will be able to share the results of my research with the community that I teach in.
