I would suggest, though you cant get good funding, it is a good college. The programs are very well structured and the learning atmosphere is excellent.

I have taken the Graduate record examination and Test of English as a Foreign language to get into the school. I prepared with guidance of my brother, who already went through the processes. I used the help of VISSU educational consultancy, while applying for the colleges. I came to US through F-1 visa, and the interview was easy with few questions related to my education sponsorship and bank loan. Getting to New York is very easy and you can get plenty of deals talking to local travel agents. I came in through AirIndia and they offered every possible benefit. Some of the seniors in the college took care of receiving and initial accommodation. Immigration was cool at JFK airport.

Getting a scholarship or tuition waiver in college is almost impossible.

The program was entirely good in its structure and frame. Teaching staff was excellent. The college has good infrastructural facilities.

I am living in off campus housing along with fellow students. Getting part times in the first semester in tough, but you can get one by the next sem. New York has rocking life and the social scene is mixed and good. The international student community is helpful.

There is no placement cell at St Johns, but the college helps a lot in finding internships and jobs. Seniors and alumni help a lot in the process.
