I did a semester abroad at JCU as an undergrad. I heard about it then because my home university has an agreement with JCU and when I came over here I fell in love the place, the people, the atmosphere and the way of life. I looked at a few different Australian universities but JCU won out.

I had supervisors who were keen to work with me; the topic I wanted to study was right on the doorstep of the university; and also because my partner is a marine biologist so JCU has something to offer both of us.
