Loving each day, the campus, my friends, the teachers are good and so is the course content. Come and have a taste of country life, the education is still the same. The atmosphere is more friendly.
I came in person and filled up a couple of forms. It was not hard at all. The staff were quite friendly and assisted me when needed. Getting enrolled, it was just a matter of days.
No, I wouldnt have any idea about scholarships. I dont get any. I am living with my parents who are still helping me with my college fees. I cannot give any tips on how to get scholarships.
I am studying accounting. Its not an interesting course but very helpful in getting jobs later on. I study for about 30 hours per week but thats not fixed. We had good teachers and very helpful and encouraging.
I think the international students who wish to make more local friends should come here to study because there are very few international students. There still are quite a few pubs to go to. Friday nights are quite good too. The beach is a fantastic place during summer to hang out. Its a small, nice city to live in. I am not working but I have friends who often change their jobs, I reckon its quite easy. I havent joined any clubs around at TAFE.
Of course, the qualification will help me get into uni and even get some credit. I am looking forward to specialise in tax accounting.
