The university experience is one of the most unforgettable experience in my life. I thought that uni is just another high school atmosphere, turned out that I was wrong. There are a lot of fun events going on the uni mostly every week, my favourite is O-Week. For students thinking to go to Macquarie University, I think it is a very good decision because Macquarie Uni is a good university that provides good study experience as well as your social life experience.

It is very simple to get in, no complicated enrolment whatsoever, and the assistance provided was very clear and helpful. If you need help or anything, they usually reply email very promptly and I think it's a very good service.

The price are reasonable and there are scholarships offered if you can meet the eligibility. Also there are a lot of prizes to be won based on your performance on certain subjects.

I like ACST 101 the best, it's easy if you do a lot of practices. This is a challenging unit as well, the theory and practical parts are very interesting to study. I usually study around 25 hours a week, including attending lectures and tutorials. I think the most important part of individual study is to practice with a lot of questions and also to do a research.

The university is very big in area, so there are a lot of spots that you can use for many purposes. Most of the students in Macquarie are open minded, so I don't really feel inferior being an international student. There are a lot of clubs in the uni for us to choose for and they will usually have their own stand during O-Week, it's been a very fun experience to just visit each of them and to figure out how unique they are.

Macquarie Uni has been helping a lot of students who are trying to find a job. My degree, Applied Finance, is a very competitive degree that Macquarie can offer and they are doing a restructuring in the department and soon Applied Finance degree offered by Macquarie will be one of the best in the country.
