When I first came here, my experience was full with anxiety and it is a bit hard for me because I missed home so badly, I got home sick and the study system here is different with that in Indonesia. We got no Plagiarism rule in Indonesia, and the student become the slave of the teacher. So it was quite hard for me to adapt during the first few months. If you want to study at Deakin, please consider it carefully because Deakin University is quite far from Melbourne city area. Make sure you know where you are going to study.
I applied from an agent and I waited for about 2 to 3 months until accepted and enrolled in the course.

I like the subjects of my courses, they are new and interesting to learn from. Other than that I love to make friends here at Deakin and the web study system is really helpful for students to study, even though it may be hard to start at first.In general, I like all the lecturers, they are different with those in my country, they are more than happy and will to help students who wants to enquire further.
I am feeling alright with my accommodation here right now, but it can be quite noisy at night when the students are disregarding the other tenant. It has not been easy to find part time job at all, and I think the economy condition is causing it to be harder.
I think I can get a good job in the future after I finished my study in Accounting.
