San Diego State University with its state of the art facilities and cutting edge technology in the field of Comp Sci was the ideal choice for me. It had an excellent course structure with courses in my area of specializationwireless. Though Id been accepted in 6 universities out of 7, SDSU was what Id always wanted. I would recommend the University to any Indian student coming to the US!!
My visa interview was a breezeno issues. Work experience prior to taking up Masters always helps.
I was self-funded.
SDSU is equipped with a number of laboratories dedicated to specific research areas as well as general purpose Windows and UNIX computer labs such as the High Performance Computing Lab. This, in addition to the superb faculty made this program a fantastic experience for me.
A degree in computer science opens the door to careers that affect nearly every aspect of society. Plenty of jobs are available in every field from finance to Hollywood !
