Illinois Institute Of Technology is a good place to be in if research is ur main interest. Its a very old and well recognised university in US and the professors there are well experienced. I had already exchanged mails with the profs there and professors in my undergraduate college had contacts with the professors at IIT and my undergrad professors suggested this univ. I had also applied to bradley,southILLINOIS univ, cleveland univ and univ of memphis.

GRE:1060, TOEFL:267, Acads:83%, I also stood 2nd in my college without any backlogs (this was the key factor for my interview, mailnly due to this i got my visa).

Companies like Tata indicom and Relaince require advanced communication techniques in the near future ..so they need comm . engineers like us who r well equippped with all the latest techniques. So there will be no probs to get jobs...good ones at that !
