This is very small place but good for studies. If you want studies, this is good place but for enjoyment, I did not advice to come here.

I took GRE and TOEFL exams which are minimum requirements to get an admission in any universities. I prepared a lot for the tests and attended the coaching classes in Visu. I need an F1 student visa. My interview experience is very good because they asked some simple questions like which university, why you choose this university and IT returns and thats it. It was easy to get tickets to my destination. For the first time I flied thru KLM-NORTHWEST. Flight experience is very nice as it was first time. Nearest airport for this university is NASHVILLE. It is around 120 miles far away from the university. University people provided the shuttle service from the airport to the university. I did not face any immigration issues at the port of entry.

Everyone will get 1/3 international wavier and teaching assistantships will get in chemistry department. Only chemistry department has lot of teaching assistantship comparing with other departments. Graduate assistantships are also available in other departments.

Program is nice here. New chemistry building is going to start from summer. It is very nice compared to our old building. I am staying in off campus. Lecture halls and university library is good. Next semester library are opening till 2 am.

We have sport and gym facilities (wellness center). Night life is very good. Compared with other cities here safety service is very nice. Very less black people. Weather is good.

As I know we have career service and also alumni society. But I dont know how much they are going to help for international students. Work permit process is easy.
