My most important advice would be to make more friends and get involved in more activities. This is because it would be lonely when one don't have much friends, especially since I am away from home.

The admission process was ok. I just followed the steps provided in the guidelines and I was accepted. All in all, it was a pretty straightforward and stress free application process.

There are many fundings available to students. Normally, all the information could be obtained through the university's website i.e International student scholarship.

My course is mostly exam based and inclusive of 2 placements during the final year. Some lecturers are good but some are not that popular among the students. In short, I am quite please with my entire course.

Life is great in university when you get to know a lot of people and have the time to hang out with friends. My accommodation is not that great, the management is quite lousy and the rent is pricy from a student’s point of view. In order to look for a job in the city, I had to pull a few strings to get the job, however the job was sort of exploiting us students as we are all underpaid. I participated in Malaysian Students Association and find it very enjoyable. I get to know a lot of people from other courses from there.

I believe that job prospects certainly increased as a result of my studies. I hope I will still be in touch with my fellow alumni after graduation, despite everyone being very busy with their working life then.
