I would say is if you are interested in doing MS, check for your options and come for studying here.
I took GRE and TOEFL. Preparation - self. I went for F1 Visa interview, my visa experience was short and quick. Getting tickets was easy and cheap, I took Jet Airways. Experience was homely. I didn't get any student fare. I flew from India to Chicago, Raleigh where the University is located. Baggage rules were 1 cabin bag, 2*23kgs luggage's allowed. I didn't face any immigration issues.Indian association "Maitri" members picked me up from airport.
TA/RA are usually offered, but hard to get them.
The program structure nice. Library is good.
I'm staying in off-campus apartment in Avery Close Apartments. Full sports facilities with a special sports center. I don't think there is anything to worry about the place I live. Weather is same like India - hot summer and cool winter - unpredictable.Indian association rocks, its fun.
