It was the best 2 years of my college life. Got to interact with students from all over the globe. The professors are very interactive in every aspect. Despite having a small college campus, almost every student gets a job on-campus.
It was relatively easy at my time to get into the univ. But now, since they have merged with NYU, the selection process is pretty tight. But students with the required aggregate and GRE score can definitely get into it.The selection process was pretty easy. the visa process went on smoothly, provided we have the legitimate documents. The travel experience was fantastic despite being a 20-hour long journey
Funding is based on the aggregate and GRE scores. But almost all Indian students get funded.Not to worry much about that.
My course was an extension of what i did in the UG.we have only one lecture hour per week for each course.Thats how it is all over the US.The lecturers and professors are very helpful.In fact, we can get to know them very closely.My course has its value for money for generations to come.
The campus was relatively smal compared to most universities. But that itself was big in itself.The city of New york is fabulous. Most people long to go to the City of the World. Fortunately, i got to go there for my studies itself.Had a great time with friends.The place is obviously costly. But no complains about that for i got to Live in NEW YORK.there are a lot of indian students clubs and organisations. visits ti NJ, washington, boston are all very easy. NY easily boasts of one of the best public transport facilities in the world.People need not look to buy or rent a car.
job depends on the availabality of openings and the number of companies related to the field of interest of the students.There are a few electrical companies in NY. But as most people know, NY is the Financial headquarters of the world.
