I am currently pursuing my PhD at Pennsylvania State University in the field of Engineering Science.
I had completed my bachelors degree in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from IIT, Madras. My selection process to Penn State was pretty cool. No issues regarding the visa.
I have had the opportunity to work as a Research Assistant at the Center for Nanoscale Science. I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant for junior level courses in Strength of Mechanics (Fall 2003) and Statics (Spring 2004). Responsibilities included conducting tutorial sessions, grading, and framing quiz questions for class strengths exceeding 300 students.
My interests lie in the field of Nanolithography, Self-assembly, Nanoscale Devices, Photoresist Technology, Imprint Lithography, Organic Semiconductors, Flexible Electronics and Thin-Film Transistors. I am happy with the research facilities offered here. The professors are highly knowledgeable and helpful.
I have published extensively while at the university. My other interests include cricket, I am a member and vice-president of Penn State Cricket Club.
