I am studying on my second year of the LLB Law course, I came onto this course as I would like to pursue a career in law as a solicitor. I took A-Levels in Modern History, Classical Civilisation and Law. I also did an AS in Politics. I decided on Plymouth as I enjoyed the Open Day and one of my friends was already here studying law and recommended it to me. She told me about the course and I also really enjoyed the local area. The Open Day was well organised and everyone was helpful.
The quality of teaching is very good and support was available whenever I needed it with the tutors being very approachable. The working environment was professional but also relaxed. The Library facilities are good. The course has changed me as a person. It has given me a lot more confidence and hopefully this will continue to increase. I am also a lot more independent and my knowledge and awareness is also increasing. It has given me a better idea of what a career in law may be like and has given me more confidence to pursue this.
I would recommend Plymouth to anyone who asked. The atmosphere of the city and the university is great. I don't think I could pinpoint a best thing but I really enjoy general university life and studying here in Plymouth.
