Get yourself lot of sunscreen lotions. You wont be able to recognize yourself after the program is done. It's usually very hot. The university is renowned and the program is very reputed in the industry.

I took GRE + TOEFL. Referred Official guide Kaplan, Princeton review, barrons. No coaching classes attended. No counselors' help used. F1 Visa availed. Very easy interview. Interview got over in less than a minute. Many flights are available. I flew Air India. Good flight, students' offer available. I landed at Sky harbor International airport. Airport is very near to the campus. 15 mins drive. Airline allowed student discounts and baggage allowance. I did not face any immigration issue at airport. Seniors come to pick up on airport.

I got research assistantship from the University.

The program is one of the best in the industry. Professors are all well qualified. Many top execs from industry came to deliver lectures. I stayed in university owned apartment. The management was pathetic.

Advise anyone to live in a privately owned apartment outside campus. Infrastructure is very good. I got research assistantship and also got part time job in campus. Very easy to get jobs. Salary can take care of living expense and can make enough savings too. Night life is good. Weather is very bad.

ASU has a very active placement cell. Depends on individual skills/profile/grades. Currently the situation is bad. Career service is in place. Job fairs, teaching soft skills, inviting top companies. Work permit is difficult now. But might improve in the coming years. It wasn't difficult for me then. ASU has a massive alumni network. It often helps the students with jobs etc.
