It broadens your mind-set and the way of thinking. It gives you the opportunity to get experience with the most possibility in real life, which encourage you to think outside the box. I think the most important thing is to have passion on what you doing.
I used agent when I applied to my college. So basically I don't really have major problem and I don't really know the detail what need to be done. But, as far as I remember you need to gives proof that you have enough fund during your stay and to go back to your country
It depends on what course and which university you take. I believe every university has scholarship offers. To secure your finance, I'm not too sure, but maybe ensure that your sponsorship is clear, such as who giving the scholarship, what includes in there, and the requirements to maintain the scholarship.
I'm taking hospitality management course, which is related to hotels, restaurant, tourism, etc. It is 4 years course to get bachelor's degree in International Hospitality Management. The course includes 6 months internship every semester in hotels and resorts around the world. The study support is great, they have international student study support to assist you for any visa issues as well as study issues such as checking your grammar in your essay. Hours of study, depends on what subject you take. Mostly required self research, works with references, and they are really strict about plagiarism.
During college time, I live in student accommodation which basically provides everything for you already such as meal and housekeeping. But during internship time, I live in share apartment and I need to do everything by myself, from cooking, shopping, cleaning, etc. Australia is a multicultural country, so its great to have friend from different contries and background. People are depends on which part of Australia you are. Perth's people are nice and friendly as well as gold coast's people. Adelaide's people are okay, mostly retired people and students. Melbourne's people are more individualist since it is a busy city, but it is a great city.
Not quiet sure for now, but most probably works in hotel. Either stay here or go back to Indonesia.
