I did not have to write any exams for my selection process to the university, just gave in reference letters. I required a visa...absolutely no problems in getting one...my visa interview was easy and smooth. I flew Lufthansa...got the tickets easily. The airlines did not offer any student fare, but it did allow excess baggage. Landed at JFK airport...no issues at the port of entry. There was no Meet and Greet service offered by the university.

The research experience at the university was rich. The superb program was complemented by the faculty that was top notch. It was a great learning experience. The lecture halls and the libraries were fine.

I did not stay at the university hostels, though I heard that they were good. I found the social life to be pretty average...nothing to write about. Weather was moderate.
