It is good to study in a place where the program is very satisfying and all the amenities in the college are quite awesome. The general life out here is great. I would encourage future students to apply here.
I took GRE and TOEFL. A student visa is required and I went for the interview in Chennai, India. They asked me few questions about my career goals and academic background. I confidently answered them, and was granted a visa. I flew Chicago through Lufthansa, which did not give me any special considerations. The college was like 1 hr from the airport. I was arranged initial accommodation with few students, who were already in the college and they came to pick me at the airport.
It is tough to get scholarship or the fee waiver here.
I am very much satisfied in every respect of the program. All the amenities in the college are quite awesome.
The student lounge and the recreation center are good. It is not very tough to find a part time on campus job though. Chicagos life in its way is very awesome. The international student gatherings here are interesting and they keep you updated with the news of your peers.
Finding a job shouldnt be tough. I say this generally. With respect to the current economic status, it takes a bit to get settled. All the possible ways help out the best to get a job.
