I moved here from the city of melbourne. At first it was quite boring but later, I realised its much more convenient place to live. The location of the campus is fantastic and the landscapes nearby are very beautiful. Its a great place for someone who want to enjoy australian country side.
I applied in person, I did complete my yr 12 from melbourne but I moved here with my family around a year back. The application process was very friendly. A piece of advice, chose the course that you have a passion to learn and not just any random course which you dont like.
No, I dont get any scholarship but the fees for my course are pretty reasonable. I can manage it without a scholarship.
I am studying accounting here. Hard to believe but I love accounts and maths. The classes can get boring at times but you get the hang of it in a few weeks. The teachers here are good on average. The students friendly too and I enjoy my classes.
Its a small city but everything needed is available here. Also there are lot of places to travel or go for a drive to when you are free. The locals are mostly australians and friendly. Yet there are many international restaurants around and its quite easy to get a job part time. I would not know much of the clubs and groups around but there is an activities club for the students.
Yes, the course will help me but I am not sure if I will start working or continue further with my studies, thats something I need to think about.
