Hello everyone I am currently pursuing a PhD at the School of International Business, University of South Australia in Adelaide, Australia. I work under Prof. Jennifer Mckay who is director of the Centre for Water policies and laws in the University’s division of business. My educational stint overseas has been an enriching learning experience so far.

I completed my Masters in Agricultural Economics at the University of Agricultural Sciences in Bangalore India. I had a GPA of 8.27.

I have been a recipient of the following fellowships and scholarships: The school of international business scholarship (in the form of a stipend) since 2002; The University of South Australia President’s scholarship to pursue a PhD by research at the school of international business since 2002 and the Cooperative research centre for irrigation futures postgraduate scholarship (for a period of 1 year in 2005).

My areas of research interest include: Agricultural and Natural resource Economics; New institutional Economics (NIE); Ground water laws and policies; Ground water markets; Common property resources; Institutional analysis of ground water management and social capital.
