I came to study in the UK with my daughter, Kiana, 4 years ago. Continuing your education and bringing up a child is a challenge, but it did not stop me from coming here to study. I first enrolled for Masters at Bournemouth University and after experiencing the support offered by the university and the superb facilities here, I took up my PhD program.

The teaching has been very refreshing and new for me. I have thoroughly enjoyed the learning atmosphere at the university. I finished my Masters in 11 months beating my fellow students who did not have children. I finished my PhD in 2 years and 7 months.

I have been satisfied with the child care I have had so far.there have been no problems. I dont see a child as a barrier thats stopping me. As long as you want to do something you can do it. I also enjoyed the varied company and cultures that I come across in the UK and get a chance to be involved with.
