I am doing my masters in Chemistry at University of Arkansas. Our program MS in chemistry is very well designed with skills in both theoretical and practical. International students will find it good because the university gives funds to students in form of TA, GA and RA, makes it easy on their pocket.

I took GRE and TOEFL. I did that on my own. I did not take help of any educational counselors. I needed F1 visa and I got it without any difficulty. Getting tickets to my place is easy and I chose Air India and it was good and cheaper one I guess. Airport is just 10mins drive from university and my friends came to pick me and university also has meet and greet service but I did not inform university so I didnt use that service.

Our university gives funds to students in form of TA, GA and RA. Also sometimes fee waiver is also possible.

I live off campus with my friends in an apartment which is just beside the university. Climate in the city is very good for Indians and city is calm and neat. Our university has many clubs and one of them is international students club and also we have Indian students club. These clubs are responsible for the lively atmosphere in university coz they organize many get together parties.

I have no idea about placement cell but getting jobs for international students depends on lot of factors. And maintaining good network will fetch a job. Alumni of the university are good and helpful.
