Chestnut Hill College, founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph in 1924, is an independent, Catholic institution. Located at the northwestern edge of Philadelphia, the College has offered a rigorous liberal arts education that provides students with a broad background in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences since its inception. The College offers academic programs of excellence in the areas of undergraduate, graduate and continuing studies which are offered by its School of Undergraduate Studies, School of Graduate Studies and School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
