The Fashion Institute of Technology is a State University of New York college of art and design located in New York City, New York, United States. The institute is involved in fashion, design, fine arts, packaging and computer animation; besides marketing, advertising, merchandising and production. Currently, there are over 10,000 students enrolled.The institute provides Associate and Bachelors degrees with majors in several fields which include accessories design, advertising design, communication design, computer animation and interactive media, fabric styling, fashion design, fine arts, graphic design and jewelery design.
