Florida Gulf Coast University is a public university in the state of Florida, located in Fort Myers. The university was established in 1991; and it is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. The study programs of the university are housed in the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, College of Health Professions, College of Professional Studies, Lutgert College of Business and U.A. Whitaker School of Engineering.
