Goddard College was chartered in 1938 as a successor to Goddard Seminary (founded in 1863); Goddard College is located in Central Vermont in the town of Plainfield.The university awards the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees. Several programs are offered under each of these degrees. The college establishes reasonable accommodations and coordinates services for students diagnosed with physical, psychological, or cognitively-based learning disabilities, as well as attention issues.
