John Carroll University was set up in 1886 and is located in University Heights, Ohio. It is a private university that offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Degree programs are offered in the fields of Arts, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences and Business at the undergraduate level and in selected areas at the masters level. The university is comprised of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Boler School of Business and also a Graduate Study program. Academic programs are offered via the departments of Accountancy, Biology, Chemistry, Chinese, Political Science, Finance, Physical Education and Military Science among others.
