Metropolitan Community College, founded in 1964, is a public institution located in Kansas City, Missouri. The College offers transfer programs that cover the first two years of a four-year degree and programs awarding certificate and associate degrees in the fields of art, biology, business, chemistry, criminal justice, economics, foreign language, geography, geology, etc. The College currently enrols about 18,000 students.
