Northern Virginia Community College was established in 1964. The public institution offers associate degrees and certificates in allied health and nursing programs, accounting, administration of justice, air conditioning and refrigeration, automotive technology, biotechnology, business administration, communication design, fine arts, information technology and marketing to name a few. Located near Washington, D.C., the College has campuses in Alexandria, Annandale, Loudoun, Manassas, Springfield and Woodbridge; along with educational centers in Reston and Arlington. The College serves around 60,000 students.
