Onondaga Community College is a College of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. The College, sponsored by Onondaga county, offers two-year degree programs that serve as transfer opportunities to baccalaureate degree programs at four-year campuses or for direct entry to the workforce. The SUNY system is advantageous as the credits are easily transferable between campuses for students willing to continue their education beyond the community College level. The College also offers certificate programs that can be completed in a duration of one year.
